Course registration for all departments at our university will commence on Monday, 9 February 2026 at 10:00 and continue until Friday, 13 February 2026 at 23:59. Course registration and renewal must be completed by all students, including those newly enrolled at our university. Students who fail to renew their registration within the specified period will not be able to take any courses for that term, sit exams, or benefit from their student rights.

Tuition fees or contribution payments must be made between 2 and 19 February 2026. If you have outstanding tuition fees or contribution payments, your selected courses will not be sent for advisor approval and your course registration/renewal process will not be completed until the outstanding amount is paid. Students who do not complete the registration renewal or course registration process will not be able to benefit from the student rights of the relevant term and will not appear on any lists, including attendance and grade entry lists.
Students will complete their course registration and registration renewal processes online by logging into the UBYS System at ubys.hitit.edu.tr with their username and password.
Your course registration process will be completed after your advisor approves it. Your advisor may make changes to the courses you have selected through the system and resend them to you for review if deemed appropriate.
You must check the course registration stages until you see that your course registration has been confirmed.
Points to Note in Course Registration Procedures:
The student is personally responsible for all registration renewal procedures.
1. Students must register for courses within the period specified in the academic calendar.
2. Students who do not renew their registration cannot take courses, sit exams, or benefit from student rights.
3. Students cannot register for courses that overlap, even partially, with other courses in the weekly schedule. This condition also applies to courses retaken due to absenteeism.
4. Students who are required to pay a contribution fee/tuition fee may select their courses after making the payment.
5. Students must first register for courses that they should normally have taken but did not take in the required semester, or courses that they took but did not pass, starting with the lowest semester in which they did not take or failed the course, in the first semester in which those courses are offered.
6. From the third semester onwards, regardless of the GANO, the maximum number of credits a student can register for in a semester cannot exceed 1/3 of the credit amount specified for that semester.
7. Our students will log into UBYS with their usernames and passwords between the specified dates and complete the registration renewal process by clicking the "Renew Registration or Complete My Registration" button. However, those with outstanding debts must first pay their debts and can only complete the registration renewal process after payment has been made.
8. Students who do not complete the registration renewal process will not be able to benefit from the student rights of the relevant term and will not appear on any lists, including attendance and grade entry lists.
